I have traced the Manning family back to a small village in Stow, Suffolk, England called Elmswell. My part of the family moved to London, England around 1870. This is a picture of the Thomas Arthur Manning and Lillian Florence Herd. Thomas Manning was born in 1884 in Middlesex, England and died there in 1916. Lillian Herd was also born in Middlesex in 1884. After her husband died, she immigranted to Canada and settled in Whitevale, Ontario. She married to Nello Randall in 1921. Her parents were Richard James Herd and Ann Bertha Hicks.
	This is a picture of my mother Phylliss Bertha Lillian Manning. She was born Edmonton, Middlesex, England and came with her mother to Canada in 1921. She married Harold Brunner.
This is a picture of my Aunt Vera. Vera May Manning was born Edmonton, Middlesex, England and also came with her mother to Canada in 1921. She married Walter Helm. He was born about 1912 in Kitchener, Ontario.
